Standstone is a local, family-run waste and water company based in Onoway. We’ve spent more than three decades keeping rural properties across central Alberta clean, supplied and running.
How we got here
One truck and a phone.
Standstone started in 1991 with one truck and a phone. We grew the way rural businesses do — one honest job at a time, building a name people trusted to show up and do the work.
After acquiring Chico’s Vacuum in 2018 and amalgamating Super Sucker Vacuum & Water, the company expanded into waste collection and rebranded as Standstone Waste & Water Services Ltd. in 2020.
More than three decades later, we’re still answering that phone — now with a full vacuum truck fleet and an Onoway-based crew, and the same promise: do the work right, and treat people fair.
