Septic and Sanitation Services for Farms and Acreages in Rural Alberta

Farms and acreages run on infrastructure that town properties never think about. The well, the septic, the facilities for whoever is working the land, all of it has to keep going, and out here there's no municipal line to fall back on. When something stops working, productivity stops with it. Standstone has worked with farm and acreage owners across Lac Ste. Anne, Parkland, Sturgeon, Barrhead, and Leduc counties since 1991, and here's how we help keep an operation running clean.

Septic for the house, the shop, and staff buildings

A working farm often has more than one system: the main residence, a second home for family or workers, and separate facilities for an office or break room. Each one runs on its own septic or holding tank, and each one needs to be pumped before it backs up.

We pump and service residential and commercial septic and holding tanks across the property. Regular pump-outs keep solids from building past the outlet, help protect the field from an early failure, and keep things sanitary for everyone living and working on the place. Standstone pumps, cleans, thaws, and inspects tanks and services septic pumps. We do not install, dig up, reseal, or repair the tanks or fields themselves.

Facilities for field crews and remote work

Planting and harvest put people out in fields a long way from the nearest building, sometimes for weeks. They still need a clean place to go and a way to wash up.

We supply and service portable toilets delivered to your fields or a remote work site. Units are cleaned and serviced on a schedule worked out with you, so your seasonal and year-round crew has something decent to use. We also deliver potable water, which is handy for handwashing stations and other water needs where there's no line nearby. Call the office to confirm what's available for your site, the servicing schedule, and timing.

Greenhouses and other buildings

Greenhouse operations run cleaner than a livestock barn, but the staff washrooms still tie into a septic system that needs pumping, and an expansion or busy season can mean a temporary need for extra facilities. We service the septic on greenhouse washrooms and can drop in portable toilets when you need more capacity for a stretch.

How to set it up

Every operation is laid out differently, so the easiest start is a conversation. Tell us what's on the property, how many people are using the facilities, and what your season looks like. The office will confirm the right services, the schedule, the timing, and availability before anything is booked. No two farms get the exact same plan.

Whether it's a routine pump-out on the house, a string of portable toilets for harvest, or water delivered to a remote site, we'll work out something that fits.
